The 1st National Congress of Biomedical Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, and Cognitive Science (BAIC 2026) is an interdisciplinary scientific event aimed at establishing an effective linkage among three important and emerging fields: biomedical engineering, artificial intelligence, and cognitive science. The congress will be held from 12 to 14 May 2026 at Ferdowsi University of Mashhad, hosted by the Department of Electrical Engineering.
This event will bring together distinguished faculty members from leading universities across the country, experts from the healthcare industry, researchers in artificial intelligence and cognitive science, as well as knowledge-based companies. It provides an appropriate platform for exchanging research achievements, developing scientific collaborations, fostering professional networking, and strengthening university–industry engagement.

A comprehensive scientific program has been planned to promote and disseminate up-to-date knowledge in health, biomedical engineering, machine learning, and cognitive science, including:
